Elon Musk Accuses Police Of ‘Appalling’ Attack On Free Speech After Probe Into Journalist

Elon Musk along with British officials are accusing the Essex police force of launching an ‘appalling’ attack on free speech after they started a criminal investigation into a telegraph journalist, over a post made to X.
The force has refused to give Allison Pearson any details about what she posted to X last year, or who made the complaint, instead they showed up to her house on a Sunday morning to invite her to a voluntary interview.
Musk taking to his social media platform saying “This needs to stop.” He later added: “This is insane. Make Orwell Fiction Again!!”
Pearson said she was told that the alleged offense was being treated as a criminal matter and not a non-crime hate incident.
The force issued a statement saying the Telegraph is presenting “wholly inaccurate information”
