EXCLUSIVE: Razor Wire At Southern Border Continues To Be Installed As Judge Rules In Favor Of Texas
6 weeks ago
According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, illegal migrant crossings in five border sectors in Texas dropped by more than 65% in January after razor wire was installed along the border… I took a trip to the southern to see some of wire that has been recently installed.
Governor Greg Abbott and soldiers from the Texas national guard are working day and night to install additional razor wire along the Texas – Mexico border after the state scored a big victory in a federal appeals court
The court ruled that Texas does in fact have the right to build the Razor wire barrier that is being constructed by Operation Lone Star to keep illegal migrants from coming into the country. However, under the direction of the Biden-Harris administration the razor wire was being cut – something the court said was wrong, and they need to stop doing.
The 2-1 decision by the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals clears the way for Texas to sue the Biden Administration for trespassing without having to remove the fencing.
For the last couple of years Governor Abbott has installed more than 100 miles of razor wire at some of the places along the border where illegal migrant crossings are the highest. The state has invested more than $10 million dollars installing and maintain the barriers as part of Operation Lonestar which focuses on securing the southern border and stopping illegal migration.
