Federal Judge Rules Ice Can Arrest Illegal Migrants At Schools, Churches

A federal judge has ruled that immigration and customs enforcement can arrest illegal migrants on school properties.
The ruling by district judge daniel domenico came after officials in denver, colorado sued the trump administration over president donald trump’s mass deportation operation led by border czar tom homan.
According to the ruling, denver public schools claimed that families were keeping their kids out of school, because they feared being deported, however the judge disagreed saying the district failed to prove that a drop in attendance was due to the trump administration’s new policy.
The sanctuary city of denver has claimed that it has had to divert resources to respond to the fear among students and families - that was allegedly sparked when biden era rules – that restricting immigration enforcement near schools, churches and other sensitive locations – were lifted.
The ruling came just days after denver mayor mike johnston and democrat leaders of other sanctuary cities were made to testify in front of congress answering questions from lawmakers on why they were undermining president donald trump’s mass deportation efforts.
Dhs announced in january that biden’s illegal migrant friendly policy would be scrapped saying that ice field agents should use “common sense” and “discretion” to conduct immigration enforcement operations.
Judge domenico declined to grant a nationwide preliminary injunction forcing immigration officials to revert to the biden era policy.
