Final Text & Phone Call Laken Riley Sent To Mom Before Being Murdered Revealed In Court
1 day ago
An emotional day in court during the Laken Riley murder trial when it was revealed that Riley’s mother missed her daughters final text message and phone call – before being murdered while out on a jog.
The Georgia nursing student texted her mother at 8:55 that morning,
“Good morning, about to go for a run. Are you free to talk?” She then tried to call her 10 minutes later at 9:03 a.m. when she didn’t get a reply to her text.
The call was made 7 minutes before the 22-year-old was attacked.
Riley’s mom responded about 9 minutes after Riley was killed, allegedly by illegal Venezuelan migrant Jose Ibarra – who is linked to the violent gang Tren de Aragua.
She cried as the text messages were read out loud in the courtroom.
