Illegal Migrant Deported 16 Times Faces 1 Year For Allegedly Killing Colorado Man

7 weeks ago A Congressional Candidate from Colorado John Fabbricatore is calling for the truck company that employed an illegal migrant who killed a Colorado man to be prosecuted.
47-year-old Ignacio Cruz-Mendoza had been deported at least 16 times, did not have a drivers license, or a CDL when the semi-truck he was driving was involved in a fatal crash.
According to Colorado State Patrol Mendoza allegedly drove off the edge of the road, rolling the semi onto its side and dumping the load on top of five vehicles.
He was arrested two days later and charged with vehicular assault and vehicular homicide.
However, prosecutors decided to charge Mendoza with misdemeanor traffic violations, meaning he’s facing a maximum of one year in jail.
