Illegal Migrants Accused Of Killing Jocelyn Nungaray Connected To Venezuelan Gang

A local media outlet in Houston is reporting that the two illegal migrants that are accused of killing 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray earlier this year, are potentially part of the violent Venezuelan gang Tren De Aragua.
Franklin Pena and Johan Martinez-Rangel have been indicted for capital murder and each have a $10 million bond.
According to new search warrants obtained by KPRC, investigators have found clues on their social media, such as certain tattoos, emojis, slang, and hand signals that indicated gang membership.
TdA came into the spotlight after reports and video of an apartment complex takeover from armed gang members in Aurora Colorado went viral on social media. The gang was then detected in El Paso, Texas after officials say they took over a vacant hotel. Gov. Greg Abbott recently designated the gang a terrorist organization.
