Iran Sends New Peace Proposal to U.S.

Iran says it has sent a new peace proposal to the United States aimed at ending hostilities across the Middle East.

Tehran says the proposal includes lifting sanctions, releasing frozen Iranian funds, and withdrawing U.S. forces from areas near Iran.

President Donald Trump says there is now a “very good chance” of reaching an agreement that would limit Iran’s nuclear program.

Trump also says he paused planned military strikes against Iran as diplomatic negotiations continue.
