Senator Josh Hawley is sending out a warning to Joe Biden’s Department of Justice and the FBI saying they better not delete a single file, and that accountability is coming.
The Missouri Republican posted a letter on X, addressed to FBI Director Chris Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland saying he was told federal employees are "destroying records" to hide their "misconduct" carried out under the Biden administration.
Hawley saying the FBI & DOJ "engaged in unprecedented abuses of the justice system," specifically mentioning the prosecutions of President Donald Trump, the targeting of "pro-life Americans" and actions against Catholic churches.
