Vice President Kamala Harris is taking a whole lotta heat for skipping out on hurricane preparedness briefings that are a staple on the calendars of officials that came before her in the White House.
Now people are saying that this is a preview of how Harris will govern if elected as president – and pointing to the fact that she didn’t book a trip to survey the damage left behind by Hurricane Helene until five days after it made landfall.
Former acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf said that its clear the Biden-Harris team underestimated the severity and magnitude of the storm and is now playing catch up – and people paid with their lives.
