The Wayne Police Department says officers responded to an active shooter Sunday morning at CrossPointe Community Church in Wayne. Authorities say the arriving officers discovered that a security guard for the church had shot and killed the suspect. One victim was shot in the leg. Police are investigating the shooting and have asked residents to avoid the area.
