Soldiers From Louisiana In Texas Installing Razor Wire Barrier

Governor Greg Abbott is sending out a thank you to Governor Jeff Landry and the Louisiana National Guard for making the trip to Texas to help install the razor wire Barrier at the Southern Border.
Abbott posting the message to X, saying the Troops were working with Texas National Guard Soldiers in Eagle Pass to protect American citizens from the dangers of illegal migration.
Gov. Landry announced over the summer that he would be sending troops down south through November to help with border security and committed 150 soldiers for the task.
The money previously approved for Operation Lone Star is being used fund the mission, so no additional cost will be felt by the taxpayers.
Landry is one of many Republican governors who have sent National Guard troops to Texas in support of Abbott’s border policies.
