Three men were killed Monday in a shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego, the largest mosque in San Diego County.
Police say the two suspects, ages 17 and 18, were later found dead inside a vehicle after taking their own lives a few blocks from the scene.
Investigators say the search for the teenagers began after one suspect’s mother contacted authorities to report her son was suicidal.
San Diego police say the shooting is being investigated as a hate crime.
