Texas Gov. Greg Abbott Awards $4.3 Million To Veteran Service Organizations

1 week ago 12 Organizations in Texas, that help Veterans, have been awarded more than $4.3 million dollars by Governor Greg Abbott – who is proudly announcing that 17 grants have been allocated to help more than 3,400 veterans and their families across South Texas.
Abbot saying in a statement that,
"Texans are forever indebted to our brave veterans who selflessly answered the call to serve in our nation’s military.”
The money will help with home modifications, job support, cash assistance and anything else service members may need – ultimately giving them more resources to help them thrive.
In May, TVC Commissioners approved 181 grants totaling more than $44 million to 161 organizations across the Lone Star State – which will directly help more than 41,000 veterans and their families.
