Three Charged With Threats In Nolan Wells Death Investigation
7 hours ago
Three people have been charged with making threats against a judge, a witness and local officials connected to the investigation into the death of Mississippi teenager Nolan Wells.
Federal authorities say the defendants are accused of making death threats and bomb threats targeting people involved in the high-profile case. Investigators say none of the three are believed to know Wells, his family or the group of friends who were with him before his death.
The charges come as the investigation into the 18-year-old's death continues. Wells was found dead after a July Fourth boat trip off Mississippi's Gulf Coast, and authorities have not announced any arrests or named any suspects in his death.
