Trump Says U.S. To Hit India With 25% Tariff Starting Aug. 1

Trump intends to charge an additional “penalty” starting Friday as part of the launch of his administration’s revised tariffs on multiple countries. India’s Trade Ministry said Wednesday it remains committed to negotiating a “fair, balanced and mutually beneficial” bilateral trade agreement.
