Trump Withdraws Park Service Nominee

President Donald Trump is withdrawing his nomination for director of the National Park Service.

The White House announced Monday that Scott Socha, a hospitality executive, will no longer be considered for the position.

The agency also went without a confirmed director during President Trump’s first term.
