Trumps attends Pope’s Funeral, meets w/Zelenskyy

11 hours ago President Donald Trump is among more than 50 heads of state and other dignitaries attending the funeral for Pope Francis in Vatican City on Saturday. He also met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The late pontiff disagreed with Trump's approach on issues like immigration and climate change. But after Francis died earlier this week, Trump remembered him as a “good man” who “loved the world.” Trump is working to broker a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine and negotiate trade agreements with multiple countries.
Word says Farwell to Pope Francis
Trump was joined by world leaders and Catholic faithful to say farewell to Pope Francis. French President Emmanuel Macron, the U.N. chief and European Union leaders, as well as Prince William and the Spanish royal family, were in attendance. After the Mass in St. Peter’s Square, Swiss Guards carried the coffin to St. Mary Major Basilica, where -- breaking with recent tradition – Francis will be buried, in a simple underground tomb… welcomed by prisoners and migrants. Some 250,000 people flocked to the funeral, held on a brilliant spring day.
