Prosecutors Play Roommate's Statements In Kirk Case
10 hours ago
Prosecutors in the Charlie Kirk murder case plan to play edited audio recordings of police interviews with the defendant's roommate during a preliminary hearing in Utah.
Defense attorneys for Tyler Robinson argued the recordings should not be played publicly, saying jurors could interpret the statements as a confession and jeopardize Robinson's right to a fair trial.
Robinson is charged with aggravated murder in the September 2025 killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. He has not entered a plea, and the hearing will determine whether there is enough evidence for the case to proceed to trial.
