Authorities say a U.S. Navy jet crashed off the coast of San Diego but the two crew members were able to eject and were rescued by a fishing boat. A Coast Guard official says the two occupants of the E/A-18G Growler were picked up by a fishing vessel called Premiere on Wednesday, then transferred to a Customs and Border Protection vessel. The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department says the two crew members were brought to a hospital. The Coast Guard official says they're both in stable condition. The Growler is a two-seater jet that specializes in electronic warfare.
